Shogran is a 2,362-metre-high hill station in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Kaghan Valley. It's a little over 200 kilometres from Islamabad, halfway between Balakot and Naran, and makes for a great weekend retreat. At an altitude of 2,895 metres, the valley serves as the entrance to the lovely Siri Paye Meadows, which covers the rocky hills of Kaghan like a velvety blanket.
